Above: Daniel, urban wildlife-approved copywriter

You click on Daniel’s ‘About’ tab and begin to read. “That’s interesting,” you think to yourself. “I’ve seen my fair share of About pages written in the first person, and I’ve seen enough pages written in the third person to last me a lifetime, but is this guy seriously writing about himself in the…second person?”

You read another sentence. “Wow, yeah, he’s committing to this bit.”

Your eyes jump to the next line. You already know that Daniel is a copywriter working in Toronto at LG2, a cartoonist with work published in The New Yorker and Air Mail, and apparently, at one point, he lived in Florida.

“But what kind of client experience does he have?” You begin to ask yourself the question, and, then, as though orchestrated by a powerful cosmic force beyond our understanding, the next line answers it.

Domino’s, The Source, LCBO, Under Armour, Hudson’s Bay Company, Catelli Pasta, ManchuWOK, Dr Pepper, Canada Dry, Crush, Chargel, Timothy’s Coffee, Partake Brewing, TABLE Food Hall, Cracker Barrel, Allen’s, Silk, Gildan, Chicken Farmers of Canada, Health Hut, MEDJCT (The Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade), Mondoux Confectionery.

You look over at the photo. You wonder who or what the Harlem Deer is. A moment passes while you envision a deer riding the subway. How does it hold onto the poles?

You keep reading the text in front of you. Daniel’s Instagram account is @danieltkanhai, he can be found on LinkedIn under the same name. That’s probably the best way to contact him for further information about the Harlem Deer.
